Cultural Humility Workshop

Katirvik Cultural Center conducts workshops that share about the cultures and history of the Bering Strait region. These workshops provide an opportunity to foster cross-cultural understanding and strengthen interagency partnerships in service delivery. This discussion takes 3.5 hours and includes:

  • Parallel Value Systems
  • Parallel Ways of Being and Ways of Knowing
  • Difficult histories
  • Perspectives on strength
  • Helpful hints for cross-cultural communication
